We consider a wide family of optical coherent feedback loops acting on an optomechanical system operating in the linearized regime. assess efficacy such improving key operations, as cooling, steady-state squeezing and entanglement, well optical-to-mechanical state transfer. find that mechanical sideband cooling can be enhanced through passive, interferometric feedback, achieving lower occupancies considerably speeding up process; we also quantify detrimental effect nonzero delay times performance. Steady-state entanglement generation blue assisted by passive which allows one to stabilize otherwise unstable systems, though active (including elements) does not help this aim. show only allow for optical, but mechanical, squeezing.
